Our optimal location allows hikers to start off on a number of different trails directly from the hotel. The moment you step outside the door, you are already surrounded by beautiful mountain landscapes at the gateway to the Dolomites. You’ll find the hiking in Val Pusteria to be very diverse: there are easy walking trails such as the Roman Road from Chienes, hikes through alpine pastures like the Moarhofalm, demanding hikes up to mountain huts, summit treks such as up Cima di Pozzo (Putzenhöhe) Peak. There is truly something for everyone. The front desk staff would be happy to give you advice about walking tours that may interest you. You can also borrow hiking poles right at the hotel.
